The Concorde
In 1969, supersonic airliner Concorde made its maiden flight. This plane is the true symbol of cooperation:
Researchers, engineers, designers, stylists... all took part in this incredible industrial adventure that enabled passengers to fly at Mach 2, twice the speed of sound.
AIR France asked the greatest designers, Raymond Loewy, Pierre Gautier Delahaye and Andrée Putman, to decorate the plane's interior for these special passengers: businessmen and show biz types. For this exceptional flight, the decor is modern, refined and luxurious.
